Take a hiking tour of Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego. Torrey Pines State Reserve is located within San Diego, California city limits and yet remains one of the wildest stretches of land on the Southern California coast. Two thousand acres (or 8 km²) of land are as they were before San Diego was developed—with the chaparral plant community, the rare Torrey Pine trees, miles of unspoiled beaches, and a lagoon that is vital to migrating seabirds. There are over eight miles of trails, a visitor center and guided nature walks on weekends and holidays. The reserve is bordered immediately on the south side of the famous Torrey Pines Golf Course, on the north by the city of Del Mar, on the west by the Pacific Ocean and by the Pacific Coast Highway to the east. Guests enjoy a relaxing stretching session, a nice warm-up, and an exciting hike along the Pacific Ocean, Snacks, and a delicious Picnic at the park is also included here.
