Aquarium of the Pacific VIP Tour - Sea Otter Experience

This tour is a private VIP tour behind the scenes at the Long Beach Aquarium. The behind the scenes tour provides a sneak peak into the daily operations at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Guests will enter the “wet side” of the aquarium, a section not normally open to the public. See what it takes to maintain a world class aquarium, from water filtration to animal care and feeding. This two-hour experience will lead you through the Aquarium to the most exciting behind the scenes areas. Guests learn what it takes to care for and feed the over 12,500 animals. Guests also assist in feedings at a couple of the holding areas. After the tour, you get a chance to meet with marine mammal staff and teach you the food preparation process for the Sea Otter exhibit. Finally, we enter the sea otter habitat and participate in the feeding and training session there.
